‘Deathly Hallows: Part 2’ premiere to take place in Trafalgar Square and Leicester Square on July 7

The world premiere of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2, the final Harry Potter premiere to take place in London, will be held in both Trafalgar Square and Leicester Square on July 7.

The red carpet event will take place in Trafalgar Square, a first for a London ‘Potter’ premiere, before cast, crew and fans make their way to Leicester Square to see the film.

Mayor of London Boris Johnson said of the event, “As befits a great British triumph, I can think of no better venue than the iconic surroundings of Trafalgar Square in which to stage the most spectacular of send offs for this dramatic finale”.

Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2 will be released to the public on July 15, a week after the premiere event.

No plans for Harry Potter theme park at Leavesden Studios, big announcement to come on Thursday

The Mirror is today claiming that a second Harry Potter theme park is set to open, this time at Leavesden Studios, the location where all eight Harry Potter films were shot.

This is completely untrue. Instead, we can confirm that on Thursday Warner Bros. is going to share with the fans some exciting news regarding a behind-the-scenes look at the Harry Potter films.

‘Order of the Phoenix’, ‘Half-Blood Prince’ ultimate editions rumoured for release on June 14

The ultimate editions of Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix and Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince will reportedly be released on June 14.

Both sets will contain new additions to the “Creating the World of Harry Potter” documentary series, this time focusing on “Evolution” and “Magical Effects”.
