Several Harry Potter actors attended the 2009 BAFTA (The British Academy of Film and Television Arts) Awards. Among the attendees were David Tennant (Barty Crouch Jr), Paul Whitehouse (Sir Cadogan), Kenneth Branagh (Gilderoy Lockhart), Dawn French (the "Fat Lady"), Lenny Harry (the "Shrunken Head" aboard the Knight Bus) and Jason Isaacs (Lucius Malfoy).

jkr1J. K. Rowling is a nominee in Glamour magazine's "Women of the Year" awards under the "writer" category for The Tales of Beedle the Bard. Her competition includes Julie Walters ("Molly Weasley") and Dawn French ("the Fat Lady"). You can vote for her here.

Winners will be announced June 2, 2009.
