The BBC is reporting that Rupert Grint recently contracted a “mild bout” of swine flu and has since recovered. “He has now recovered and is looking forward to joining his fellow cast members” at the world premiere of Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince in London on Tuesday, Grint’s publicist said.
Grint took a few days off from the filming of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows to cope with his illness, but filming was not disrupted because of his absence. According to his publicist, “Other scenes were shot in his absence which did not require his involvement and thus filming was not disrupted.” He is now back on the set.
