British illustrator Thomas Taylor designed the original Philosopher’s Stone cover artwork in 1997 and has the honour of being the first artist (besides J.K. Rowling herself) to bring Harry’s world to life. In the years to follow he created a series of rare ‘Potter’ illustrations.
